Youth Voice Grant

The Youth Voice Grant is currently closed for funding.

The Youth Voice Grant supports projects that allow young people to turn their ideas into action.  We know that young people have ideas to make things better. We also understand that there are rarely opportunities that support the younger generation’s voice. Community Connections Grant Program has been linking philanthropy to community groups and leaders since 2006. We created this opportunity for Detroit youth groups and their adult champions to apply for grants between $200-$1500 to design projects for youth and by youth ages 13-24 years old.

Youth with ideas to change things for themselves and others, exercise and build their leadership skills, learn new things and/or explore directions for a brighter future are encouraged to apply. We will help you design a project to put your ideas into action.  We believe in you and want to support your leadership in action. Young people have to be a part of solutions for challenges that affect them. The panel will meet regularly to review applications and will include youth grant makers.
